About Carole Feasey
Born in London, Carole Feasey initially declined an art scholarship to study the sciences for a career in medicine.
A change in direction renewed a childhood obsession with wood work which eventually led to a wood craft career at Gloucester Cathedral.
After twenty-five years Carole eventually moved on to realize a dream to become a full-time artist/sculptor, and has found earlier studies in anatomy useful in her figure sculpting.
Carole obtained a science degree which included environmental studies and maybe this earlier interest is now developing as wildlife art with a greater awareness of the many problems facing the animal kingdom and the environment.
Carole is a member of the following Societies and Associations
The Wildlife Art Society International
Gloucestershire Society of Artists
British Wood Carvers Association
David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation
